Days 5, 6 and 7 of 30

Well, i'm keeping up to date! :)

Day five, was updating your shop avatar and banner... but since ours are new and shiny I didnt need to do anything! Hurray for Beautifulcreations!

Day six and seven are both dedicated to updating your items titles and descriptions. Which i'm working on now! Well, I was until I started writing this... ;)

Back to work!! :)

Days 2, 3 & 4 of 30

Day two's Assignment was to improve your shop's announcement!

I don't have a before and after, because I tend to fiddle around with the announcement every few days :) Though now I think I've settled on a format I like (for a while at least) and I've managed to keep it short so you can see the featured items as soon as you open the shop page! :)

I also updated/changed/added too our profile. (which turned out to be day 4's assignment... Woo, day ahead! ;)

On day three we had to add /change/update the sections in the shop. I'd never added sections to the Knottwood shop before, as we were still on one page of items at the time. Now, we do have item sections, and here they are:

Creatures
Faerie Doors
Fabric Creatures
Original Art
Cuff Bracelets

30 Days to a better shop (Day 1)

Ooooh Nifty!

I was wandering around on the Etsy forums last night (As I generally am these days ;) and I discovered a rather nifty thing... Christina Perdue is creating a series of 30 day assigments, called '30 days to a better shop' and is going to add each day's assignment to her blog (Linked in the title) So, i'm going to join in... and see what effect I can have on the Knottwood shop :)

The first Days Assignment is to write a list of goals, for the month and Longterm... So here we are:

October:

1. Sell 10 items
   

2. Keep up with the '30 days to a better shop'

3. Keep the Blog up to date

4. Start advertising in 3 more places – Off Etsy

Longterm :

1. Be able to support ourselves & Move!
   

2. Rent/have a better workshop

3. Expand the range of items we can sell

Well... that one was pretty easy, tho the lists could have gone on for pages and pages. I figure its probably best to keep them short for now :)
